Shareoboyo dan Surohope “Stronger Together: Supporting Each Other’s Mental Wellbeing”

DP3APPKB Surabaya Avatar

In the Shareoboyo and Surohope event, Puspaga Surabaya, in collaboration with UNICEF, took a powerful step toward empowering students by focusing on mental well-being and self-confidence. The event kicked off with an opening by the Head of PPA DP3APPKB, Mrs. Thussy Apriliyandari, S.E., M.PSDM, highlighting the critical role mental health plays for teenagers in today’s world.

UNICEF representatives then dove into adolescent dynamics, discussing the unique challenges young people face today. This was followed by Mrs. Dita Amalia, S.Sos., M.Psi., Director of the Plato Foundation, who introduced the HAT (Helping Adolescents Thrive) program. Through this initiative, students gained practical tools to navigate their emotions, manage stress, and foster positive growth.

The day’s most heartfelt session, ‘Stories from the Heart,’ allowed students to share their personal stories, support each other, and recognize that they aren’t alone in their struggles. This safe, supportive space encouraged mutual understanding and the strength found in togetherness.

Let’s continue to uplift each other, foster resilience, and make mental well-being a priority for everyone. Together, we are stronger! 💙✨
